Annapurna Region

Nestled in the north central region of Nepal, Annapurna Region is the most visited trekking destination amongst the people trekking in Nepal. With numerous trekking trails suitable for people of all age groups and physical fitness, Annapurna area is undoubtedly the best zone for explorers. This area is protected by Annapurna Conservation Area Project and travelers need to acquire their permit before entering the region.

Annapurna (8,091 m) is the 10th highest mountain of the world and has very little summit ratio because of its challenging terrain and avalanche conditions. Witnessing this geographical masterpiece has been a dream of many people and Adventure Treks Nepal has helped many to achieve that dream.

Ghorepani Poonhill Trek is one of the most popular trekking trails in the Annapurna Region receiving a large number of tourists every year. The trail to Ghorepani is filled with Rhododendron trees which during the spring season (march-may) bloom magically. Hiking through the Gurung and Magar community villages is also loved by everyone who has been to the Annapurna Region.

Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) and Annapurna Circuit Trek (5,416m) are other popular trekking destinations of this region. Both of these trails have some of the best 360 degree views of the mountains. The Annapurna Circuit Trek is also well known for being home to an endangered species, Snow Leopard. The Annapurna Conservation Region has diversified flora and fauna which will leave everyone speechless.

Some of the less explored and less crowded trails in Annapurna Region are Khopra Ridge Treks and Mohare Danda Trek. These trails are perfect for those who wish to trek on the less crowded trail with outstanding Himalayan views in the backdrop.
