Comments: "Trekking to Mount Everest BC"

This was the first time i ever took an adventure of this sort, didn't even know what poles are or why on earth do i need trekking shoes or a backpack to protect my back. The hike to the base camp took approx. 2 weeks, from the onset AT team were punctual, professional and friendly (I felt safe) – you can tell, they love what they do. My guide, Ramesh Sunuwawr was extremely patient, always smiling and did his best to cater to any requests i may have - so thank you Ramesh so much :-) The hike to the BC was not easy for me but it was worth every minute. I will always remember the wonderful people i met along the way, the breathtaking scenery (you’re after all in the Himalayas), the energy in Kathmandu and the gorgeous sunrise on Mount Everest from Kala Patthar. I can't recommend AT enough, not simply because they are good at what they do but also because you'll feel like family. So do like I did, drop your smart phone, forget your emails and the calls, buy some trekking shoes and a couple of poles and get to know what it means to be a part of nature. Ramy

Comments: "Poon Hill"

We (a couple) did a 6 day Poon Hill trek with Adventure Treks Nepal and it was brilliant! We called in to the office in Thamel, and Gyan organised everything. So easy to deal with. 2 days later we met our guide Jit and porter Derma in Pokhara and began our trek. They were both lovely.

The trek was strenuous but do-able. If we were to go again, I'd make sure I am fitter beforehand, as there are some very steep areas! We just took it at a slower pace. Also we'd add an extra day of free time in ghandruk to explore that area more.

The Mountain Discovery Lodge in Chuile was our favourite teahouse along the route.

Comments: "Trekking and Island Peak Climb"

We are So happy with Adventure Treks Nepal and Highly recommend them! This was our third trip that we arranged through Gyan, after fantastic experiences with the Everest Base Camp trek and the Manaslu circuit trek.

Our main objective, this time, was to climb Island Peak (6189 M). I am 61 years old and my wife 56. Obviously, this puts us in an older age group than those that usually climbing this peak. Gyan was very accommodating to that fact. He also customized our itinerary so that we could stay in our favorite towns along the way.

We had our favorite Sherpa, Sangam, with us again. As always, he was fantastic and we could never say enough about how great he is! He did everything to help us reach our goal. He even went back down to base camp after the trek up to Crampon Point, got some snacks and hot tea and met us back at Crampon Point to celebrate our success with us.

Gyan arranged for our excellent climbing guide, Delipe. It was very reassuring having him with us on Island Peak, considering he had just guided climbers up Lotse. He was so knowledgeable and had the perfect climbing pace for us. We left Basecamp at 1:00 AM and summited at 7:45 AM. (My wife had to wait 15 minutes just below the summit for me to catch up, so we could summit together.)

Most likely if you are reading this, you are considering your first trip. We had lots of concerns and questions years ago and can assure you that Gyan, Sangam and Adventure Treks Nepal will take care of everything and you will have a fantastic trip. They are the best on the mountain! In our two previous trekking trips, it became obvious to us how important it is to be with a knowledgeable and experienced company. Over the years, we have observed other groups with substandard guides and have been so happy that we went with such a seasoned and experienced company. Now with climbing rather than just trekking, again we find that Adventure Treks Nepal was fantastic. Not all groups who attempt Island Peak are successful. It is comforting to know that we had everything possible from our guides to support us. My wife said it was the hardest physical thing she has ever done, but also one of the most rewarding!! Pam and Paul.

We have holliday time in september. Do you know is a good season if we make the Anapurna trek from 1 to 15 of september?

We are a group of Norwegian students that had a excellent time trekking the Ghorepani - Poon Hill trekk for 7 days, together with our guide Gyanendra.

I will really recomend Adventure Treks Nepal. They were allways answering our emails really fast, so nice to talk with and really helpful. They made a nice route for us, with beautiful views.

Our guide Gyanendra is always in a good mood, really helpful and made nice suprices for us. We had lots of fun. He has much expirience and found good places for us to stay. One of the nights we even stayed at a small teahouse, where we got to learn to make nepali food in the traditional way, it was a really nice experience. Marte

My friends and I had a very nice trekking with Adventure Treks Nepal; the guide Gyanendra Karki and the porters. We spent seven days in the mountains; to Ghorepani/Poon Hill. The guide took us to very nice places to sleep, and at one of them we learned to make Nepali food. That was a very nice experience for us. Gyanendra was in very good mood all the time, and he surprised us with birthdaycake the last night. I want to recommend this company to others that want to go trekking in Nepal, and recommend Gyanendra Karki as an amazing guide. Sara

Comments: " Ghorepani - Poonhill: Best for beauty ! "

Hiked one amazing week with old (and new) friends in the Annapurna-region. Guide Gyendra customed a hike meeting my groups wishes and physical shape. Ended up trekking Ulleri - Ghorepani - Ghandruk - Tolka - Luwang - Dhampus amongst other places. The highest point we reached during this trek was a bit over 3 000 m, so if you want to break personal records here, this isn't the trip for you. But as our guide so nicely put it; this trek is best for beauty! We got to experience alot of different natural surroundings along the way, which is something I enjoy alot in a hike. Guide Gyendra made sure we also got to experience "the real Nepal" - making food together at "Popluar Tourist Guesthouse" in Tolka with a warm and welcoming family :-)

We were four friends who did a 7 days trek to Poon Hill with Adventure Treks Nepal. We went with the amazing guide Gyanendra and two porters. The trip was well organized and the company was really helpful and easy to cooperate with. I didnt expect this trip to be as fun and beautiful as it ended. Gyanendra, the comedian, had a lot of experience and knowledge and made the trip really special. He also changed the intenary during the trek, so we could experience even more. Just positiv toughts about this company, highly recommended. Petter.
