Comments: Adventure Treks Nepal made it possible that we had the best experience and holidays of a lifetime.
We found Adventure Treks Nepal through the Lonely Planet guide and from the beginning Mr Gyan was answering fast, giving possibilities for our narrow time frame of holidays (10 days). He was always incredibily flexibel and always made sure that we would to get the adventure experience that we intended (ABC trek).
Furthermore we were so so lucky to have a terrific guide Bhuwan and two great porters Purna and Bishnu, that not only help us during the trek in order to pass glaciars, very very narrow paths, bridges, but their sense of humor (snow fights, teaching Nescafe namaste and noimost), strength, ready to push us (we asked if doing Annapurna to Chhomrong in 1 days was possible, which is a 10hour walk, and they sair yes!), and kindness created very strong bonds between us. I would trust them my life and my sisters life again and again again. I thank them profoundly and I hope we will do further Treks together!
I thank you all Gyan, Bhuwan, Purna, Bishnu for not making Nepal just another stamp in the passport but to make it as the best time of our life. (Dhanyabaad).
Namast and talk to you soon

I can't recommend Adventure Treks Nepal enough... I have been using this company since 2013 for regular treks/visits to Nepal and also for trekking in Sikkim. Gyan, Gyanendra and my most recent guide Dev have always been very professional and they have always been very helpful and responded to my needs.

Comments: Our family of 4 trip to the ABC was well organised. Gyan considered everything, including very thoughtful touches upon arrival and our leaving at the airport. Everything went smoothly. Our guide Gyanendra was brilliant. His knowledge of the mountains was terrific and his friendships with teahouse owners and staff allowed us to feel welcome. He gave us the right amount of attention. Gyanendra was able to quick re organise our bookings at the teahouses when our circumstances changed during the trek (sick teenager and foul weather heading into ABC). The porters were amazing, especially Khil, whose kindness we will always remember. I highly recommend Adventures Trek Nepal.

Comments: Mardi Himal trekking route !
It is not difficult route for Beginners for Mardi Himal. Good guide and service mind assistance guide and porters. Our group has booked with this agency many times for our visits. We are happy with them. Gyan Karki and his team can support you. We also booked them for this year 2018 too.

Comments: My husband and I went on a 16 day trek to Gokyo and Everest Base Camp with Adventure Treks Nepal. The mountains are beyond impressive, we especially enjoyed the Gokyo valley part of the trip, the glacier up at Gokyo is unbelievable and the route up there not as busy as the normal Everest Base Camp route.
It was a real privilege and treat to have Lalit as our guide, always entertaining us with stories and also being sensitive to our needs. Being a cook on Everest exhibitions earlier in his life, he came with a wealth of experience and adjusted the itinerary according to our energy levels and interest. This kept the trip exciting- Lalit even took us to Ama Dablam base camp because we had some free time and felt up to it. Loads of people that we met on the trail and came into contact with Lalit commented that we have a cool and fun guide!
Everything on the tour was very well organised, Gyan is very professional and knowledgeable, from explaining the route, what to expect, dangers of altitude sickness and many more. We were definitely in safe hands with Adventure Treks Nepal.
An excellent service was also provided by our porter, bags were always well cared for and many times he secured nice rooms for us by walking ahead.
Thanks to Adventure Treks Nepal for the adventure of a lifetime! We are keen to come back to Nepal for another Himalayan adventure.
Comments: "Good company, great people (Manaslu Trek)"
We did the 18 day Manaslu-Circuit Trek which was a great experience!
Everything was well organized. Gyan, the owner met us at the airport and arranged everything, including gear rental and parcel service (we sent some stuff from and back home)
The tour was also well organized and our guide and porter were experienced and nice people. They recommended good teahouses and were flexible.
Thank you, Adventure Treks Nepal

Comments: "10 day Annapurna Base Camp Trek - April 2017"
Adventure Treks Nepal was recommended to us by my close friend. My husband and I decided to spend our Easter holidays trekking through the Himalayas. For me this was definitely a challenge. I am not the most outdoorsy person, I walk slow, I scare easily and I don't have very good balance. Nevertheless, I wanted to attempt this trek and my goal was to make it to ABC!
We contacted Gyan, owner of Adventure Treks Nepal, and shared our rough itinerary and the dates. We asked about different packages for 2,3, and 4 people. It gets cheaper with more people. We requested no city tours as we wanted to maximize our time in the mountains. We requested domestic flights (as opposed to bus) between Kathmandu and Pokhara, both ways.
Gyan was very quick to reply and gave us very detailed information on each day of the trek (what altitude we would be trekking to, from where to where, estimated time of trekking each day, what was included/excluded from the cost, names of hotels in Kathmandu, Pokhara etc).
Gyan was excellent at communicating with us and responding to our many questions. We were immediately impressed. We did check out a few other agencies for comparison, but felt most comfortable and re-assured with Gyan. All the package fees were more or less close to the same costs, some of the others we checked were comparatively lower and that kind of raised some eyebrows for us. In the end, we were extremely satisfied and happy that we decided to go with Gyan and Adventure Treks Nepal.
Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, Gyan himself greeted us at the airport and gave us our first briefing at the hotel. We were very surprised that Gyan was there himself, but this also gave us a great impression of how much he cared for his clients. It was very personal and we felt at ease.
Our assigned guide was Gyanendra Karki. We met him briefly at the hotel on our arrival and immediately felt comfortable. He is a very experienced and seasoned guide. He has trekked all over Nepal and knows the trails so well. Each evening after dinner, he would brief us for the next day. He knew exactly how many minutes up or down we would be trekking, the terrain of the trail and the estimated time for the day.
We felt safe and at ease with Gyanendra. He is very amiable and we enjoyed having conversations with him. We shared many jokes and stories. He always openly shared the different options we had for each day (i.e. if we could not make it to our planned destination on time, if the weather wasn't good etc).
Our porter, Mr. Bishnu, was also very experienced. He was very quiet, but we noticed he was very observant and always helping to look out for us. We also noted he was very well dressed! Nice pants and shirt and nice shoes! He took very good care of us.
After the first day, Gyanendra and Mr. Bishnu had observed how we trekked/walked and were able to better plan the next 9 days for us. They understood our pace and how I was scared when coming down hills and big steps / stones. It was mostly my pace that was slower, but my husband stayed by my side. Gyanendra and Mr. Bishnu both emphasized that we each need to walk at our own paces. Don't let anyone pressure you to go faster. Be confident in your steps for peace of mind and for safety.
Gyanendra always tried his best to get us the most comfortable tea houses with our own private room. Sometimes we would need to walk a little further, but all the tea houses were lovely and we were grateful to him to arranging it for us.
We slightly amended our return trip, which I felt was better for my walking pace. It also gave us a chance to see a different route on the way down instead of going the same way we went up.
On our last night of the trek, when we were down to lower altitudes, we shared a beer with Gyanendra and Mr. Bishnu to our successful trip. Gyanendra gave us a lovely stone plaque with a nice message and also gave us each a little note. We loved the personal touch.
Once we arrived in Pokhara the next day, we had our last lunch with Gyanendra and he introduced us to some lovely Chili Chicken. Was delicious!
We would highly recommend Gyanendra and Mr. Bishnu for any treks in Nepal. They are both experienced, attentive and pleasant to spend 10 days with! Gyanendra has so much knowledge and local tips he can share with you. Anything we asked him, he was able to share some history, tips or funny stories.
It was sad to say good-bye to Gyanendra when we arrived in Kathmandu, but if we go back again, we will definitely request Gyanendra as our guide or at least have a meal with him.
On our departure from Kathmandu, Gyan came to pick us up and drop us at the airport. We loved the personal touch of greeting and sending us off directly from Gyan.
We were truly impressed with Adventure Treks Nepal (Gyan, Gyanendra, Mr. Bishnu) and Nepal. We hope to be back again one day! Thank you Adventure Treks Nepal!
