Comments: We booked ourselves on to the Everest Base Camp & Gokyo trek with adventure treks Nepal, and from the moment we arrived at Kathmandu and met Gyan we knew it was a great decision! Everything was sorted and there was none of the waiting around or plans not coming together that can often happen when travelling in Asia. We were dropped at our hotel (Thamel) in Kathmandu which was perfectly adequate, and then went to the Adv Treks office the next day to talk to Gyan about the trek etc. Again, everything was on time and organised for our flight to the Himalayas the next morning, and we met out guide Mr Khim, who was extremely friendly and very knowledgable. The trekking was superb! Unfortunately altitude sickness hit me very hard, and eventually the decision was made that an emergency evacuation was required. Within an hour of the decision, we were in a helicopter on our way back to Kathmandu - all sorted by Gyan! He was also at the hospital to meet us, and checked in regularly over the next few days to see how we were getting on. He also helped us organise other places to stay and other things to do that weren't related to his company - this was really nice and we could tell he wanted us to enjoy being in Nepal. He also took care of sending all insurance details to relevant parties after the incident, so I just had to focus on getting well and planning the rest of the trip. Overall, extremely friendly, extremely helpful, and I know exactly who to contact when I go back to Nepal to try Everest again!! Thank you so much Gyan!

Comments: Adventure Treks Nepal provided our group with an amazing experience that nobody who went will ever forget. We completed the ABC trek over 10 days and every minute was a blast. Everything from top to bottom was organized in the most excellent fashion to make the trip as easy for the customers to enjoy as possible. All the meals, accommodation and transport were organized, by the company and would highly recommend using them for your trek.

We went on an 18 day trek (Manaslu circuit with a side trip up Tsum Valley) with Adventure Treks Nepal. The organization of all the trek details - including modification to meet our specific itinerary requests - was very professional and efficient. The Managing Director was helpful and responsive, answering all of our questions.

When we arrived in Kathmandu, we were met with a friendly greeting at the airport and the company transferred us to the hotel. On the trek, our guide and porter were extremely kind, helpful and professional. They anticipated many needs before we had to ask...and if we did ask for something, they helped in any way possible. We trusted them and we had fun together. It was a truly wonderful and memorable experience and I highly recommend this company.

Just one helpful hint if you've never booked a trek like this before (this was our first time) - it is worth asking all details of what is included in the package and the related costs to be sure ahead of time you agree with the means of transportation, the food and drink arrangement, etc. In hindsight, knowing the details ahead of the trek (and potentially making modifications) would have been very helpful.

Comments: "amazing company, great with kids!"

We did a 5 night/6 day trek with Adventure Treks Nepal to Ghorepani/Poon Hill with our 4 and 7 year olds. I had originally emailed about 20 various trekking companies trying to find the best fit for our family (price/route/child friendly etc) and while Adventure Treks were one of the first to respond I held off booking anything until I had heard back from all the companies.

In the end I went back to Adventure Trek Nepals for several reasons; Gyan was really efficient at communicating, he answered ALL my many questions and was one of the few companies that I emailed that actually listened to my request and tailoring a trek that suited our family.

Everything was easy and taken care of and once we arrived in Nepal Gyan met with us at our hotel and again the following day to go over any last minute questions we had as well as explain what to expect. The second meeting we also had the opportunity to meet with our guide which was great, whom we also meet up with again the night prior to our trek.

Included in our package was the guide and 2 porters to carry our belongings and we hired an extra porter to help carry our youngest. All 4 were fantastic! The guide and 1 porter spoke great English so communicating was super easy and the other 2 porters while we couldn't converse as easily were very friendly and kind and even helped carry our oldest at times.

Throughout the week my youngest who is immensely shy really warmed up to her porter and talks about him daily since our return!

We loved all the accommodations and I felt like we always got the best room in the house which I can only attribute to our guide/company and the relationships they have formed with the teahouses from many years of trekking.

The tea houses had great food and again, thanks to our guide who would place orders in advance we would always have our meals at times we requested - definitely great when you are traveling with children.

Upon our return back to Kathmandu we ended up booking a driver through Adventure Treks to take us around Kathmandu for the day and again everything about the process was seamless.

If you are looking for a reliable, efficient, cost effective and family friendly trekking company in Nepal I highly recommend Adventure Treks Nepal!

We can't wait to return to Nepal in the future and already know we will be making contact with Gyan when we do!

Comments: Everything was organised perfectly by the Adventure Treks Nepal, unfortunately for us the weather was against us and we got snowed in. Ramesh our guide was fabulous as was our porter Pradig.

We will be back to trek in Nepal again and we will ask Gyan at Adventure Trek Nepal to help us again.

Highly recommend that you enlist Gyan expertise to plan and implement your adventure in Nepal

Comments: Having recently returned from a 9 month trip across Asia and Africa, top of the to do list on getting home was writing a review for Gyan and his wonderful team at Adventure Treks Nepal. My wife and I had a wonderful experience trekking with Khim, an extremely knowledgable and entertaining guide and Pemba, a very kind and strong porter! From planning our Annapurna Circuit Trek with Gyan over email (only a week before we started) to being met by him at our hotel, being driven to the start of our trek and saying goodbye to Khim and Pemba in Pokhara everything ran incredibly smoothly and we had an amazing time. I can thoroughly recommend this company to help organise and plan your trek, they are experienced, great at communicating and very reasonably priced. We will back one day!
