Comments: Fantastic way to trek Annapurna
We had a wonderful time trekking Annapurna Circuit. All communication was handled in a friendly and timely manner, meaning we felt very prepared for the trek. Our guide and porter were both outstanding, ensuring that every aspect of the trek was taken care of and ensuring we had an amazing time. When my husband became ill along the way, we received outstanding support which enabled him to still reach the summit.

Comments: This was my third time going on a trek in Nepal and using the services of Adventure Treks Nepal. ATN has been great all three times. Gyan is almost constantly checking with a guide to make sure that the trek is going well. You have a lot of flexibility during your trek on where to stay and changing the itinerary, if necessary. On my recent Everest Base Camp trek, for example, the friend with whom I was trekking got sick in Dingboche. We stayed there for two days while she got better and we continued trekking to EBC (we had to give up on the Chola Pass part of the trek). BTW, the Annapurna Base Camp trek is also fun. Our guide on the EBC trek was Ramesh Sunuwawr. He is a great guide. He’ll also teach you how to play Bagh Chal (the goats & tigers game) . I recommend it. Finally, our porter Prashant was great. To sum it up, you will have a great trek if you use ATN’s services. You will be in great hands.

Comments: "Three treks in one"
This past spring (April 2024) I did, with a friend, a long trek joining the "Tamang Heritage Trail", the Langtang Trek and the Gosainkunda Trek.
Jit Rai accompanied us, as a guide/porter, from the Adventure Treks Nepal Agency, led by Gyan Karki.
The experience has been fabulous. We enjoyed, in general, good weather, we contemplated the spectacular flowering of rhododendrons, we saw the emblematic birds of various ecosystems (among them, the showy ones: Monal, Lophophorus impejanus, -national bird of Nepal- and the bloody pheasant, Ithaginis cruentus), we climbed several peaks, such as Tsergo Ri (4,984m), crossed hills with fabulous views, and crossed hollow forests with lush vegetation.
All this, thanks to the good work of our guide Jit, who diligently and professionally solved the small problems that arose during the route and the advice, when programming this route, from Gyan.
Thanks to Adventure Treks Nepal we were able to realize our dream.
It is the third time that I have organized my treks to the Nepalese Himalayas with this agency and I have always been completely grateful to them for the facilities they have given us when preparing the route, organizing all the infrastructure, permits, etc. and for offering us guides. and efficient, friendly and decisive porters.
Without a doubt we will organize another adventure with them again!

Comments: "Breathtaking sceneries and astonishing people."
This was my second time in Nepal, and I am already thinking in a third. The main reason we choose spring to visit the country was to enjoy with the blossoming of the rhododendrons and we certainly did. Another reason was to birdwatch in a different season and, it was a hit. As always, the staff has been great. They have taken care of us every minute along the whole trip and beyond. Finding every day the most appealing lodges to stay in. I would highly recommend contacting with this agency to organize your dream trek in the area.

Comments: "Annapurna area with Adventure Treks Nepal, a personalised holiday with a company that cares about their staff and you. "
This was my fourth trip to Nepal and my fifth trek with Adventure Treks. This trip and with limited time, together with two friends, who had not been to Nepal before, we decided to trek in the Annapurna area. We had two porters and our experienced guide Ramesh (who's English was terrific).
Our first day, once leaving the gravel road behind was all uphill through farmed terraces and small villages, with a lot of high steps, quite difficult in the heat, especially the last hour up to the guest house. Having an on suite with hot shower (to be our last as we climb higher with colder air) at the end of the day was terrific and unexpected. Although our porters did not want to join in, we taught Ramesh a card game whilst waiting for our dinner of dahl blatt (delicious vegetarian curry served with lentil soup, rice, with greens, pickles and papaderm).
The following days we climbed up through the magnificent tall pink and red rhododendron forests with their understory of highly scented daphnie with a spattering of cream-coloured magnolias. Occasionally we would walk through a dense bamboo forest. Normally the views of the Annapurna Range would be terrific, and indeed photos Ramesh showed us from the same time of year in 2023 were, however we seemed permanently enveloped in thick damp cloud so missed the views.
Unfortunately, two of us picked up colds with me getting progressively worse and coughing more. I was always sweating and hot hiking but carried layers and waterproofs to put on when stopped.
The day to MBC (fish tail base camp) deteriorated to heavy rain at our very crowded lunch stop at Deurali. Ramesh suggested several times, that he find us a room for the night, but with so many people and only a couple of simple guest houses we decided to continue once the rain stopped. we layered thermals and put our wet weather gear beanies and gloves on before venturing out. Not long after leaving, with the others out of sight ahead we were caught in the worst blizzard I have witnessed, torrential hail and rain like standing under a waterfall drenched everyone to the skin within a few seconds. With one of our group ahead out of sight, Ramesh was well aware that he needed to keep us moving to prevent hypothermia, he took my day pack, obviously concerned with my now raking uncontrollable cough and slowing pace. The walk is about four kilometres from the lunch stop to MBC but with the horrendous conditions and three avalanches that were eerily close it felt like a hundred. Once we arrived, Ramesh was fantastic ensuring we got into dry warm clothes and taking our wet stuff to dry out around the heater in the dining room, I was concerned that he did not do the same until we were settled and warm.
I knew that I was too ill to continue. Once the rain stopped Ramesh wanted to start taking me down, but I explained that it was a chest infection not due to altitude and I would be fine to wait until the following day.
The following morning was brilliant sunshine with the most magnificent mountain views, so we finally took some lovely photos. With two of us now ill we asked Ramesh to arrange for a helicopter to take us back to Pokhara. I had thought I would be able to walk down, until it took me 20 minutes to walk down 100m to the helipad.
Looking at my photos a week later I realised the flight was spectacular with views the whole way down the valley.
Ramesh asked if I wanted to go to hospital, but we decided to get antibiotics and cough mixture from the chemist. However, the next morning, not feeling any better and running a temperature he took me to the CIWEC Hospital where I received excellent treatment for acute bronchial pneumonia. Ramesh took the others for tours around pokhara and was so caring, visiting me twice daily talking with my doctors and ensuring that I understood what was happening, I cannot thank him enough for his friendship and care, I think, far beyond what is expected of a guide.
The hospital has an insurance liaison officer, who arranged all the paperwork and managed to receive payment just after I discharged, taking all the pressure off.
Once I was well enough, Ramesh took us for a scenic tour by vehicle for our last day in Pokhara.
Back in Kathmandu, Ramesh joined us again with Gyan's family to enjoy a magnificent Dahl Blatt, home cooked meal. Always the perfect, friendly and personal ending to a wonderful holiday with Adventure Treks Nepal.
Although we did not complete the trek and I was ill, I still had a wonderful time and will be back again for another holiday with Adventure Treks Nepal and to visit my Nepalese friends.
Amanda.

Comments: "An adventurous adventure"
The whole trip was so impressive. Of course it was challenging and exhausting in some places, but still such an impressive experience.I am so grateful to our guide Ramesh for accompanying us so well, safely and supportively. The landscape was really fascinating. Unfortunately we didn't have a good view of the mountains for a few days, but it didn't affect the mood or the landscape. It was definitely not my last trip to Nepal. At this point I would like to thank you again for your support, guidance and help throughout the entire journey.I'm already longing for the next hike and new discoveries in Nepal.
Dominik.
