Kathmandu & Annapurna Trek - 24th Sept to 5th Oct

From the time we landed and were greeted at the airport by Gyan until the very last day, every detail of our trip was extremely well-organised. We met our guide Gyanendra when we arrived at our hotel and from that moment on we were in very competent hands for the whole of our time in Nepal both in Kathmandu, our Everest flight and our 5 day Annapurna trek. Gyanendra organised each day and detail meticulously - to the minute. He was friendly, cheerful and lots of fun every day while being absolutely professional at all times. All of our drivers were fantastic and safely negotiated our way through the chaotic streets of Kathmandu and we were especially appreciative of our safe driver on the treacherous trip back from Pokhara.

Everyone was extremely helpful and kept us safe at all times. The accommodation in Kathmandu, Pokhara and the tea-houses on the trek were all well-chosen to ensure we were comfortable each night.

Gyanendra showed particular concern for the health and well-being of each member of our group and his cheerful jolly nature was a delight. His program was flexible enough to ensure it suited the needs of every group member but structured enough to ensure we kept to schedule and didn't miss a thing. Gyanendra's knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for Nepal and the mountains is very infectious, and made our trip a truly memorable experience that will last a lifetime. We would highly recommend Gyanendra as a superb guide for both in the city and trekking in the mountains.

Adventure Treks Nepal came highly recommended by fellow Aussies and certainly lived up to our every expectation, being very well organised and extremely easy to plan with. Gyan replied super promptly to every email and answered all questions to our complete satisfaction to ensure that every detail of our trip was covered. Nothing was left to chance and there were no hidden extras.  The precise planning of our trip from our very first email to Gyan to when he saw us off at the airport ensured our whole adventure flowed smoothly and was the most fantastic unforgettable experience of our lives. Our heartfelt thanks to Gyan, Gyanendra and all our porters and drivers. We will never forget the very special time you gave us in Nepal and the Annapurnas.

Comments: We really enjoyed our experience Cultural Tours in Nepal for two weeks with Adventure Treks Nepal. They have made our trip much more enjoyable then we aspected and We thank Adventure Treks for that. We will come back again for our Next Trip to Nepal and we would use Adventure Treks Nepal again without Hesitation.

Everest Region..Sagarmatha is my Dream...Eventhough I can't Climb to top of the world.

So I contact to Mr.Gyan...He is Nice Guy he waiting us with his smile. We have had a fantastic two week trek to Everest base camp. Our Guide Ramesh and two Porter have been excellent and very attentive looking after us. Ramesh is a very good guide and taught us allot about Nepali culture. and our Porter was a brilliant porter. They are my best friend. We think he will make an excellent guide in future.The level of service from both Guide and Porter was superb. They were available all the way to help us with anything we needed, and both were thoughtful about anything we might require, water, food showers, accomodation. Ramesh's knowledge of the area and the lodges meant that we were always happy with our accommodation. He took care to visit places which were comfortable and had home stay feel. Ramesh have the qualities to be excellent guide and porter and to give all his clients a wonderful trekking experience.We highly recommends him.

Comments: My husband, daughter and myself booked the Everest Trekking with Adventure Treks Nepal in Sep 2013. Gyan Karki was wonderful in taking care of all our pre-trip questions and organization of the trip from start to finish. We were made to feel very welcome in Nepal and found all the guides (Lalit) and our porters were really special people. Most importantly, all arrangements were as discussed. All our pick-ups and tours were on time and as described. It was great having arranged with a small company with "big" heart! We would not hesitate to recommend Adventure Treks Nepal, and look forward to travelling in the future with them! A beautiful country with beautiful people!

Comments: Our Trek: Everest Region – Gokyo Lakes, Chola Pass, and Everest Base Camp

Our Dates: 15th Sep'13 – 2nd Oct'13

When I first started researching which trek company to use, I decided to make some enquires to a number of companies. I found that ATN were the most helpful without being too pushy. Gyan, the managing director, was my contact. Gyan was really patient with me – I changed my mind several times and had many questions - he was always happy to answer and he did very promptly each time.

Once we had confirmed and booked our trip, everything was smooth sailing from there onwards. From airport pickup, briefing about what to expect, purchasing of last minute items, the trek, transfer back to Kathmandu and organising of taxis etc. They provided assistance with whatever we requested.

Mr Khem (our guide) was a joy to be around through the whole trek and he forms part of our amazing memories. He is a very experienced guide and we enjoyed listening to his stories from previous treks and listening to his jokes. We missed him when our trek was over. I especially appreciated it when he helped my husband who was very sick at the start of the trek. Mr Khem really helped him get better and motivated him to carry on when he felt down.

Each lodge we stayed in was of good quality and comfortable and the food was also surprisingly good.

ATN made our trek a trip of a life time. If we had to do it all over again… we wouldn't change a thing.
