The best time to trek in the Langtang Valley is spring and autumn. Winter trekking is also highly recommended, but you have to be well-packed to deal with the cold. Summer/monsoon (June to August) is not a good time for this trek because of heavy rainfall, poor trail conditions, and unclear views.

Spring (March and May) is our favorite time for Langtang Valley trekking because the region is blooming with rhododendrons and many other wildflowers. The mountain views are phenomenal, and the weather remains stable.

Likewise, autumn (late September to November) is our second favorite time for Langtang Valley trekking because of the fantastic landscape, stable weather, and moderate climate. Nepalese celebrate their biggest festivals in this season, so you have an opportunity to be part of the festivities.

Single rooms are limited and cost extra money. Apart from the bed, you will not get much service in the room to spend the night. WiFi, hot showers, and charging usually cost a few bucks.

Bathrooms are shared between the trekkers. Toilets can be Western or squat style. We recommend trekkers pack toilet paper, soap, wet tissues, etc. for the trek. You can also carry a sleeping bag with you. Likewise, the guest houses also provide meal service. A decent meal can cost up to Nrs 700 to Nrs 800.

Our Langtang Valley trek package includes three meals a day. You can choose from chapati, soup, porridge, toast, eggs, pancakes, etc for breakfast. Similarly, the lunch and dinner menus include options like thukpa, momo, noodles, dal bhat, fried rice, rice with curry, pasta, etc.
