Detail Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu [1,330 m]: A representative from Adventure Treks Nepal will be waiting outside the airport according to your arrival time who will assist you with the accommodation. Once you have settled down, a short briefing will be done. If you have any questions and wish Please do let us know. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 02: Cultural Tour in Kathmandu [1,330 m] - (B): You will have breakfast in the Hotel. After breakfast we will drive to various UNESCO listed world heritage sites of Nepal which are situated inside the Kathmandu Valley. Swyambhunath is the initial heritage site that we will be visiting; a famous and important stupa for Buddhists which is situated at the top of a hill in Kathmandu Valley. The temple is also known as Monkey Temple due to hundreads of monkeys living around the temple area. We then head to the ancient palace of Kathmandu, Kathmandu Durbar Square which consists many historical temples such as temple of the living Goddess Kumari, the Jagannath temple, and the Kasthamandap, a famous three storey building which was built from a wood of a single tree. Later today we will visit the most scared Hindu shrine of the world, Pashupatinath followed by the visit to Bouddhastupa one of the oldest and biggest stupa in Nepal. Overnight inHotel.
Day 03: Drive To Pokhara [970 m] - (B): Early in the morning, we drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Nepal's lake city. Our bus follows a winding road over the valley rim and descends onto the Trisuli River. The journey is slow and steady as the road winds through villages and passing terrace fields before reaching our destination. Overnight in Hotel in Pokhara. (Option tour Rafting at Trisuli river if age above 12 years and minimum 04 pax).
Day 04: Drive to Hyangja - Trek to Dhampus [1,550 m] - (B/L/D): Our trekking begins from Pokhara with a drive towards Hyangja. From Melbot we begin to trek into the forests in a wide trail. From the very beginning of the trek we have frequent views of the Annapurna Himalayan Range. The trek then take left leaving the wide road and into the narrow uphill path. We then appear at the ridge from where we trek further ahead to Astham where we will have our lunch. We then descend a bit to join the wide trail once again. We then enter a magar village leaving the main trail behind for a while. We finally reach Dhampus passing a local school on our way. Overnight in Tea House. Average trekking 05-06 hours.
Day 05: Dhampus - Trek to Sarangkot [1,540 m] - (B/L/D): We wake early to catch sunrise over the entire Annapurna Range. However, one of the best sunrise view point still awaits us in Sarangkot. We begin our day after breakfast. The first part of the trail is gradual walk on the same trail we used yesterday. After 10 minutes of walking we change our trail towards Sarangkot taking a right followed by a descend to GhatteKhola. After crossing the river on a suspension bridge we begin to ascend towards Naudanda. From Naudanda we enter the Naudanda - Sarangkot hiking trail that continuously goes on the top of the hill will wonderful views. We get of the hill on the place called Kaskikot for lunch. After lunch continue towards Sarangkot. Overnight in Tea House. Average trekking 05-06 hours.
Day 06: Sarangkot - Trek to Pokhara [970 m] - (B,L): We take a short hike in the morning up to the view point to witness one of the best Himalayan sunrise with the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan Range. After spending sometime at the view point we return back to tea house for breakfast. After breakfast we begin to hike towards Pokhara city. The trail today is mostly downhill which joins the main roads of Pokhara near lakeside. Finally, our trek comes to an end.Overnight in Hotel.
Day 07: In Pokhara [970 m] Free day- (B): This is a free day in Pokhara. You can spend your time relaxing or do some sightseeing around Pokhara. There are many places like Peace Pagoda, Bindhabasini Temple, Mahendra Cave etc. If you are interested to visit these sites we are always happy to provide you the services. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 08: Pokhara Drive to Chitwan National Park [850 m] - (B/L/D): Today we will head towards Chitwan. After your breakfast at the Hotel we will begin our drive which will take 4 to 5 hours. Once you arrive at Chitwan, a short briefing is made regarding your stay in Chitwan. If any queries feel free to ask us. After Lunch visit to Tharu village. Tharu are the local people living in Chitwan area since a long period of time. Then we head towards TharuCultural museum where we will know more about the history of the Tharu people followed by a walk to the Rapti River Bank to observe spectacular sunset. Return back to hotel for Dinner and head to Tharu Stick Dance programme to observe outstanding display of Dance with sticks by Tharu people.Overnight in Hotel/Resort.
Day 09: In Chitwan National Park [850 m] - (B/L/D): Today we will be having remaining wildlife activities. After breakfast we will head out for Dog-out canoeing followed by a short jungle hike that takes us to elephant breeding centre. We will spend some time in the Breeding centre and return back to hotel for Lunch. We then will head to Rapti River to witness elephant bath. You can also join the elephant while it is bathing which is a great experience. After that we will go on elephant safari where we will be on elephants back exploring the Chitwan National Park furthermore. Return back to hotel. Remaining time is free for refreshments. Dinner will be served at the Hotel.Overnight in Hotel/Resort.
Day 10: Breakfast at Hotel Fly to Kathmandu [1,330 m] - (B): Our last day at Chitwan allows us to enter the National Park for bird watching session. A wildlife Guide will lead you inside the Jungle to see some of the birds around the National Park. We will then return back to Hotel for Breakfast. After breakfast we drive to Bharatpur airport and fly to Kathmandu. Once you land in Kathmandu we will drive to the Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 11: Free day in Kathmandu [1,330 m] - (B): There are plenty of interesting sites to visit in the Kathmandu valley like the Old Palaces at Patan, Bhaktapur, Durbar square, Swayambhunath (the monkey temple or you may wonder down town Thamel to shop for souvenirs and sample the various restaurants of Kathmandu. We are happy to offer you some recommendations.
Day 12: Fly back home (1,330m) - (B): A representative from Adventure Treks Nepal will drop you to the airport according to your flight time. Return back home with memories that last lifetime.
