Langtang Region lies in the northern part of Kathmandu and boarders Tibet. Protected by the Langtang National Park, this region is one of the best trekking destinations in Nepal. While trekking in this region you will have a magnificent view of Langtang Lirung (7,246m) along with many other peaks. Crossing the Lauribinayak Pass (4,610m) is the main highlight of the trek. Astonishingly, you will be able to see almost all of the major Himalayas of Nepal that includes Makalu from the east to Annapurna in the west. Thus, Langtang region is the third preferred trekking destination in Nepal after Annapurna and Everest Region.

Langtang Region is the mixture of nature with religious values. The trail consist lakes of Gosaikunda which is one of the scared Lake of Nepal and also includes natural hot springs. The diverse landscape that this region possesses is extraordinary. The lifestyles of Sherpa and Tamang people are thoroughly enjoyed by the trekkers trekking in this region. Tourism and Yak farming is major source of income for those living in this region. Yak Cheese Factory is a place you should not miss while trekking in Langtang Region. The culture of this region is unique as the people here are believed to be from Tibet which resulted in cross cultural diversities of Tibetan and Nepali ethnic group.

Major attractions of Langtang Trekking are entire Kyangin Gompa view, Yak cheese factory, Langtang glacier sights, Langtang Lirung expedition, Ganesh Himal and Manaslu, holy Lake Gosainkunda, Cross Lauribinayak Pass (46100m) and Sherpa Culture at Helambu.
